Our Mission
We are a family owned and operated farm committed to providing healthy and delicious meat to our community and beyond in an environmentally friendly manner.
We protect and preserve our farmland by using sustainable farming practices such as rotational grazing, and managing our pastures naturally, without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
We ensure that our meat is healthy and nutritious by not giving our animals growth hormones or
antibiotics. Our cattle are raised naturally on high quality pastures (pastures properly balanced in
nutrients and minerals).
We care about our animals. Our free range, fresh air pasture system assures that our cattle are
cared for and handled humanely.
What makes our beef different than store bought beef?
-
Pasture Raised Our beef are raised and finished on fresh, high quality pastures, containing a salad bar mix of high protein grasses, legumes and forbes. This produces a healthy, high quality food product rich in CLA, Omega 3 fatty acids, beta-carotene and vitamin E.
-
Tender and Flavorful Beef A low-stress and humane environment, Angus breeding, young slaughter age, and 14 - 21 day aging period assures that your beef will be tender. Our pasture production method gives that vintage beef flavor. You’ll taste the difference!
-
Environmentally Sound Farming Practices Raising animals on pasture enriches the land without polluting the soil or water. We use natural fertilizers and do not use chemical pesticides and herbicides.
-
Local and Farm Fresh By buying directly from our farm you can see where and how your meat is being raised, and feel confident that you are feeding your family healthy, top quality meat.
0ur beef are grass finished “Argentina style” without grain. Our pigs are fed a grain mix without use of animal by-products. All our animals are raised antibiotic-free with no added hormones.
Health Benefits of Grass-fed Meat
Recent research has shown that grass finished beef contains up to 3-5 times higher levels of Omega-3 fatty acids and Conjugated linoleic Acids (CLA) than grain finished beef. These “good fats” are essential to a healthy diet and have multiple health benefits:
Omega-3 Fatty Acids
The omega 3 and omega 6 fats are more properly balanced in grass fed beef, as nature intended, which decreases the risk of heart disease, obesity, diabetes, cancer, and immune disorders such as asthma.

Persons who have diets rich in omega 3’s are less likely to have weight problems, high blood pressure and depression. A French study indicated persons on a diet rich in Omega 3’s have a 70% reduced death rate from heart disease and 61% reduced cancer incidence.
Conjugatd Linoleic Acid (CLA's)
Animal studies have proven that high levels of CLA both prevents cancer and slows growth of existing cancer cells.
CLA in meat helps convert fat to muscle, therefore making grass-fed meats an ideal addition to a fitness or weight loss program.
Beta-Carotene
Increased levels of beta-carotene found in grass fed beef have been linked to lower risk of cancer and heart disease.
